A Day at Mount Piscah
Our little Oregonians showed us around the outskirts of Eugene. We drove out to Mount Pisgah which is a living tree museum It's a favorite place for the locals along the Willamette river. There is a lovely trail that runs along the river, probably a 10 minute hike into a nice shady spot. Perfect place to spend a hot afternoon swimming or in the shade eating a popsicle with the ones we love.

Laguna in August
Sliverton, OR
Lovely little town North of Silver Falls, Oregon.
Lots of antique shops and collectable stores.
You really need to pay attention to the proper
exit out of town if you are driving an RV, freeway signs
aren't readily posted. It's an older town and the streets
are narrow with low over hanging trees.
Down get lost in town it's almost

Malibu

This was our first trip to Malibu, Ca. We had alot fun last weekend, exploring the coast line
and eating and drinking and being merry... busy little town but
we landed ourselves at Duke's Aloha Bar for dinner, very good fish & chips. The entertainment was hula dancer's
doing their thing every 15 min. or so. The following day we headed North to see Paradise Cove.
Great place to eat, kinda reminds me of a Margaritaville Jimmy Buffet restaurant. Large portions and outta
this world deep fried calamari !

Bakersfield, CA
We made it to Bakersfield and stayed here at the Orange Grove RV Park, very easy access off the freeway and easy pull-throughs. Quiet and tidy and reasonably priced in $40 range, we'll definitely be staying here again ! Cute grounds with little country store. Had to have a tire value replaced before we could leave the desert, we are getting our electric awning repaired when we reach Coburg, outside of Eugene, OR. The Country Coach plant has laid off workers and they are only charging $50 per hour to do repairs instead of $120 and they will come out to the Premier RV Park to do them!
