San Jacinto Mountains at Sunrise
My first panaramic project. We hiked up in our PJ's with coffee for this one, a few different breeds of birds were conversing over the valley as they flew to reach the warmth of the sun.

An afternoon in Palm Canyon
We haven't taken the party palace out for a month or so, we've really missed it. Had a wonderful lunch next to Tahquitz Canyon and shot many photo's for our work website. I think the temps reached around 78 in the desert today :-))))) Making plans to go the Joshua Tree Music Festival in May, looks like a much smaller version of Burning Man.

New Years Day 2009
Doheny Beach, CA.
Great day at the beach, we got there early and found a beautiful spot next to the beach. There is a great little mexican eatery across the street you can take a pedestrian bridge to get there.
Lover's Point
I shot this of a cute couple standing by the edge overlooking Dana Point Harbor in San Clemente. For some reason it reminded me of the movie " Sleepless in Seattle"
A Jiffy Campfire
Our fun but failed attempt at cooking popcorn over a campfire made of Fed Ex & Anchor Blue gift boxes, we forgot to bring any wood for the campfire.
San Clemente Coastline
We arrived up just past Camp Pendleton and saw layers of fog over the ocean as the sun was on it's way down, I liked the silhouettes of the landscape against the yellow ochre sky.
Leaving Coachella for New Years...
My husband, daughter and I headed out for the coast to spend New Years. The Jacinto Mountain Range is still adorned with signs of winter upon it's peaks, this is close to the Ariel Tram ride outside of Palm Springs.

Another Favorite Furry Friend
My Sister's Dog Snoop, he travels with her and her family on their outings to the desert to ride their ATV Toys on Superstition Mountain.
Beauty on the Beach
I'm a rock fan in more ways than one. Love this one from Dana Point Beach and Harbor where my brother Tom goes Lobster diving at night.

Dana Point Harbor
We left the desert for a quick 2 day getaway to visit my family for an early Christmas, my parents came down from Northern, CA. where the temps dipped at -10 below. Oh my, makes my bones ache just thinking about it.
It was our first time driving the "yet to be named RV" to San Clemente. We took the Oceanside route and it went very well, much better than our usual route which has an off ramp that rises up to very undesirable heights, freaks me out in a car let alone driving it in an RV.
We learned there are many great places to camp in an RV along the coast. My sister-in-law mentioned Malibu with a few good hiking trails to enjoy. San Clemente has a couple camp grounds that have nice ocean views. We stayed at the end of their street and loved it, having our little home on wheels right there with our own comfy bed to sleep in. Can't wait to go back, we always have a great time at my sister's place.
San Clemente, CA
Spent an afternoon with family at Dana Point Harbor Our nephew Corbin caught his first fish off the pier, it was so cute. There were two fish on the line, one they named Lucky and threw him back and the other one he named George Washington as he raised his hand in a salute, lol he was a keeper.
